Junior Sales Representatives (Clean Energy Company)

Our client, based in downtown New York City, is a rapidly expanding manufacturer of battery-based backup power systems and is a leader in the development of turnkey energy storage solutions for the backup power, renewable energy, demand reduction, and utility markets. These units are sold nationwide.  Because of this rapid growth, the client is looking for energetic, organized Sales Representatives excited about changing and improving the energy landscape.Duties include: Handle and close leads generated from company marketing efforts Coordinate with Director of Marketing to identify key target areas Proactively seek and develop new opportunities and channels for profitable growth Build and maintain local network of distributors and installers Perform site visits/assessments to properly size and install systems Ensure complete customer satisfaction through sales process Further develop and refine sales and marketing process Local, tri-state travel up to 3 days a week (company car provided) BA or BS required with an excellent GPA. 1 to 3 years previous successful sales experience. Some of the client's best sales people have come from industries such as mortgage, financial services, office equipment, rental car, but any industry niche would be fine. Candidates with a passion for "green energy" or the environment should flourish in this position. Ability to be trained in a complex technical product. Excellent written and oral communication skills a must. A likeable personality since this position sells via phone and in-person to high-end residential customers.
