LED Applications Engineer

This position must be located in/around Atlanta, GA. Position can be assumed from employee's home. OSRAM SYLVANIA will provide the required technical equipment required for this position including computer, fax, telephone, etc.

LED Specialist Engineering position requiring in depth LED technical application knowledge to support fixture development activities with OEM customers

BS degree in Engineering required plus minimum 5 yrs related experience. MS preferred.
Technical sales experience a plus.

Responsible for supporting the New Technology Commercial Engineers and OEM sales organization from pre-sales systems engineering consulting activities through post-sales implementation support.
Must be knowlegable about thermal management, power/controls and optical requirements for optimizing LED systems performance. Provides answers to customer inquiries. Works on solving problems of moderate to complex scope.

Must have technical skills should include: expertise in lighting technology (CRI, CCT, photometrics, efficacies) and lighting applications.
