Help Sypris Test and Measurement be a leader in the Calibration industry by joining our team!   Please visit our web site at www.sypris.com/stm/ for more information on Sypris Test & Measurement.     About the Opportunity: We have an excellent opportunity for a talented individual to join our team as the Lab Supervisor for our Calibration lab in Orlando, FL area. The work environment is fast-paced and high-energy.   In this role, you will be responsible for directing the operation of a technical service branch office that provides calibration, maintenance and repair of complex electronic, mechanical and process control assemblies and instrumentation, under the guidance of the Branch Manager or District Manager.     Responsibilities: Oversee a commercial calibration and repair laboratory operation. Trains personnel, reviews and explains work.  Explains and enforces company rules and regulations.  Full responsibility for technical task performance. Responsible for planning, budgeting and staffing projects. Responsible for the achievement of business objectives. Provides direct customer interface in support of quality, customer service, sales and marketing objectives.  May be responsible for quoting processes, service agreements, renewals, demand, while establishing time codes for instruments and reviewing and pricing calibration & repair quotes. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualified candidates will meet the following requirements:   U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident status required. College degree preferred or equivalent. PMEL training and certification preferred. A minimum of 4 years of related work experience.  Expertise in at least one of the following area: Electronic equipment calibration or Physical/Dimensional calibration.  Sypris Test and Measurement offers an attractive compensation and benefits package including health, dental, vision, life, disability, and 401(k).
