     Position Description

 LabVIEW Test EngineerReports To: C. Mahal

 

DUTIES:Provide design and coding of National Instruments “LabVIEW”, “LabWINDOWS/CV” and “TestSTAND” software for Phase Matrix instruments.

 Drivers

§         Responsible for instrument drivers for all our products using LabWINDOWS/CV.

§         Develop front panels control software for all products.

 Test Software

§         Develop test software for various assembly level tests using LabVIEW

§         Develop software for full system level tests

§         Develop test software for environmental testing of various products

 Applications Software

§         Develop Spectrum Analyzer Software

§         Develop various demo software for various customer applications

Experience in software development in a technology company is required.  The ideal candidate will have an abiding interest in software development and digital design as a profession.  The individual should have a dynamic ability to get things done, but be able to get along with, and gain respect of, a wide variety of people.  The candidate should be a lifelong learner, continually bringing new, practical ideas to the job.  Most importantly, the individual must be committed to being a contributing member of a team devoted to quality in ethics in all dealings with customers and suppliers.

 

EDUCATION:  AA or AS in computer science or equivalent.
