Hynix is expanding its business to CMOS image sensor (CIS) market to strategically broaden its overall semiconductor presence and achieve its goal of leading the global semiconductor market. Our goal is to become the leader in CIS market. It is within reach with our extensive experience in manufacturing cost effective solutions in DRAM and NAND Flash combined with our far-reaching experience in developing CCD and CIS. We have the expertise in producing devices with extremely low leakage current (dark current) leading to superior image performance in low light condition. In order to capitalize our extensive experience on process and device development, we are building a CIS Design Center in Glendale, California. Primary Responsibilities:

 

This position will plan and layout full custom analog circuits for advanced CMOS image sensors. This position will make important contributions in optimizing the size and shape of the physical layout for various analog and digital circuit blocks as well as full chip-level layout and verification. This position will perform LVS, DRC, and work directly with design engineers.

 

Requirements:

· BS EE or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of extensive analog layout experience.

· Experience with circuit verification and optimization, including layout verification and parasitic extractions of circuits.

· Familiarity with Cadence design, LVS/DRC tools preferred.

· Ability to direct the physical integration team with floor-planning and physical partitioning of the design a must.

· Experience in CMOS imager pixel layout is big plus

· Experience on column layout based on pitch requirement is plus.
