Learning and Development Manager Experience (Years): 10 Overview: At present, we have an excellent opportunity for a Learning and Development Manager in our Melville, NY location. As a Learning and Development Manager, you will identify, design, and implement various management development and sales training programs. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Partnering with senior management and external vendors on business and culture change-related issues - Independently assessing organizational capabilities, evaluating the training and education needs of the group - Researching available education approaches - Independently resolve issues as they arise - Designing and creating programs based on the training needs of the organization - Presenting the completed programs to senior management - Travel as needed (30%) Minimum Qualifications: - 6 - 10 years of design, development, and implementation experience in Management Development, Sales Leadership, and Organizational Development. - Knowledge of MS Office, with advanced proficiency in PowerPoint - Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline, or equivalent - Strong Communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to partner with senior management and external vendors on business and culture change-related issues - Ability to grasp new ideas and change direction quickly in a fast paced environment - Outstanding platform and facilitation skills -specific experience running brainstorm sessions with senior managers, focus groups and feedback sessions - Experience working in a global environment - Ability to travel approx.
