We are conducting a search for a Logistics Analyst to work in our corporate headquarters in Lake Success, NY. The person in this role organizes and handles a variety of logistics issues. Duties include, but are not limited to; supply chain services, inventory control, critical parts availability, material handling, import-export licensing, shipment of products, and third-party warehousing. This person will evaluate customer support and field service commitments to ensure customer requirements are met as well as assist in developing logistics plans and procedures. In this role you will work with the manager to standardize transportation agreements as well.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. This person should have 2-3 years experience working in a distribution or inventory control capacity and should possess knowledge of logistics modeling techniques such as EOQ/EOP. This individual should also possess strong organizational, written, analytical, administrative and interpersonal skills. Excellent computer skills are required. Exposure to warehouse management would be beneficial and experience with electronics is a plus.
