Logistics Engineer II

Division Overview: Distinguished by our heritage in radar, identification friend or foe (IFF) and Air Traffic Control (ATC) technology, Telephonics Command Systems Division has long been recognized for its advanced electronic technology, aerospace and defense system products. Telephonics Command Systems Division technology is on board platforms that help to protect civilians and military personnel worldwide.  The U.S. Navy, the U.S. Coast Guard, the U.S. Air Force and numerous international defense agencies depend on Telephonics’ advanced state-of-the-art products to successfully complete their mission.

Brief Summary: Coordinate and perform various activities to provide basic logistics support for the development and production of products and systems. Ensure that such products and systems achieve maximum operational efficiency at the lowest possible cost. Analyze contractual commitments, customer specifications, design changes, and other data to plan and develop logistics programs from conceptual stage through the life cycle of the product. Perform Reliability & Maintainability predictions and trade studies. Develop or maintain LCC model using commercial or self developed software. Perform FMECA using preliminary engineering source data.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university plus 5 years related experience. Prior experience writing ILS proposal data and assisting Tech Manual development required. Familiarization with IETMs, CBT and HIS/Haystack. CLP certification is desired. PC skills including Microsoft Excel and Access a must. Must have a background that would permit the issuance of a Security clearance, which includes US citizenship.
