MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

 

 

North American Stainless, (NAS) is seeking motivated, creative, and hard working technicians to fill challenging and rewarding jobs within our maintenance team!!  NAS is a world leader in stainless steel production, utilizing state of the art production equipment and a highly skilled work force.  Due to our continued plant expansion, we are in need of maintenance technicians to work on rotating 12 hour shifts; willing to work holidays and weekends. 

 

Job responsibilities include:Front line troubleshooting and equipment modification in a continuous fast paced production environmentPreventative and corrective maintenance taskProject work on mechanical systemsKnowledge and ability to troubleshoot hydraulic/pneumatic equipment Welding/cutting Shaft alignment Millwright Knowledge of mechanical equipment processes, i.e. bearings, lubrication, gear reducers, pumps and compressors

 

Candidates are required to have:

·  A minimum of 3 years technical experience in mechanical maintenance or an industrial maintenance degree.
