An industrial supplier is accepting resumes for a Buyer opportunity in the Winston Salem, NC Area.  The position is located at the customer’s facility and will require interaction with the customer on a daily basis.

 

The primary duties of the Buyer are:

·  Purchase Inventory

·  Manage Inventory

·  Bill customer

·  General Storeroom Management

 

 

We are seeking a motivated individual to coordinate customer needs, inventory management, cost savings initiatives and product delivery. The position requires previous experience in a manufacturing setting, excellent organizational and purchasing skills. 

 

The candidates must be well versed on the operation of maintenance cribs, cost savings and supply chain management. The candidates should have excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with all levels of personnel, good computer skills and MRO product knowledge. Experience with computer managed inventory system is a plus. The candidates must have a strong familiarity with the use of Outlook, the Internet, MS Word and Excel.
