Major Account Manager - $70,000 Plus Commissions and Bonuses
Our client, a leading worldwide manufacturer in office electronics is seeking a Major Account Manager who knows how to get appointments with "C" level executives to open negotiations on large equipment contracts.
Working with a team of Major Account Representatives, Regional Major Account Managers and System Support Engineers, you will be responsible for penetrating Fortune 1000 accounts, including State and Local Governments, by establishing appointments with key decision makers. This will be accomplished by phone appointments and aggressive prospecting.Here's what you will need to be successful:----- 3-4 years B-B Sales Experience, either as an inside or outside Sales Representative-----A convincing telephone personality that maintains a high level of professionalism-----Experience selling at the "C" Executive level----Knowledge of either computers, printers, multifunctional devices or networking. You will share in the closing of the contract by receiving bonuses, etc, on a quarterly basis.Our client is a very profitable, quality oriented organization who has established a proven "model" for selling to, and closing, major account business. They recently closed a deal for 9,000 units to one of America's largest and most respected companies.Please note: Experience selling to consumer and residential prospects will not be acceptable for this position. You must be able to sell in the business world to business executives at the top levels.Outside/Inside sales experience with companies such as Xerox, Ricoh, Canon, Hewlett Packard, KonicaMinolta,Toshiba, Sharp, IBM, Microsoft is highly desirable. Experience working with dealers and distributors calling on business executives is very acceptable.
