Manager, Sales Administration

The position requires significant ability in both managing complex data systems as well strong people skills to manage the various stakeholders involved. The successful candidate will report directly to the President of PHEC.Accountabilities:1. Support sales and sales rep network as single point of contact, coordinating ad-hoc projects with marketing,operations, and other stakeholders.2. Management, organization, and refresh of channel/customer data and information (contacts, addresses, channelserved, etc.)3. Related, manage the utilization and accuracy of a CRM system, and recommend business opportunities.4. Oversight, tracking, and execution of sales ?incentives? including rebate programs, SPIF?s, and other promotions.5. May manage one or more direct reports (currently Sales Coordinator).MANAGEMENT:? Manages the ?sales cycle? through coordinating rebates, special payments, MCA?s, and other programs, validating for accuracy andappropriateness.? Oversees new account setup process, coordinating with stakeholders and updating customer database information.? Responsible for the management and accuracy of customer information, including basic contact information as well as ?value add? information. Repository includes SAP master data as well as external system (database and/or CRM system).? Project Management: Acts as liaison between sales staff and HQ, coordinating collaborative activities. Tracks and manages priorities of ad-hoc requests from/to sales staff.? Monitor and maintain sales literature inventory, and coordinate with Marketing regarding newdesigns/ideas.PROBLEM-SOLVING:? Methodical Planner who is highly organized and able to see and then pre-empt potential problems withinthe framework of multiple competing requirements from various stakeholders.? Can generate, analyze, and make business recommendations from sales reports by customer, channel,or buying group affiliations.? Demonstrates ability to work with a broad range of personalities to obtain a satisfactory solution for thebenefit of the company as a whole. Will require ability to build consensus and/or be assertive as appropriate while clearly understanding that ?the customer comes first?.KNOW HOW: ? Bachelor?s Degree or equivalent experience required, with Business or Finance a plus.? At least 3 years work experience in a multi-million dollar (preferably) organization.? Experience designing, working with, and administering sales programs (e.g. rebates, special payments).? Experience with CRM systems a plus.? Excellent Skills in MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint. Demonstrated ability to utilize data analysistools to analyze data and present conclusions based on that analysis.COMMUNICATIONS:? Must be able to work well with customers and manufacturer?s reps and understand their needs. Needs tobe able to present persuasive arguments to customers to work with PHEC to deploy new supply chainmanagement methods without disturbing current sales.? Demonstrated ability to deal with many different personalities and take appropriate action to solveproblems.? Write clear and logical documents in standard American English at levels appropriate for multiple differentaudiences and stakeholders. Additionally, able to edit the work of others for accuracy, logic, and clarity.TRAVEL:?
