In addition to the Electronic Test platform there is Motion, Environmental, Product Identification, Mechanics Hand Tools, and Medical Technologies. Current annual sales for Danaher are approximately 10 billion.

We are seeking a dynamic Manager of International Service Operations.

Responsibilities:

·  Responsible for formulating and administering service policy and operating procedures for Fluke subsidiary and representative service operations.

·  Develop and maintain a close working relationship with international sales group, product divisions and international service subsidiaries and representatives.

·  Develop and coordinate the implementation of new product support plans for international service locations.

·  Identify, seek solutions and communicate responses on service support issues and problems (e.g. parts, technical support, service plans, training, QA, etc.)

·  Provide coordination and support to international service personnel visiting Fluke with particular attention to service support training.

·  Exercise overall direction and control of assigned production operations; monitor performance, assign responsibilities and delegate authority.

·  Formulate operating procedures and standards.

·  Direct and review the developmental plans and priority schedules of operations; participate in quarterly and new product planning.

·  Interpret and execute policies affecting organizational units, recommend modification to operational policies and ensure compliance with Company policies.

·  Direct the preparation of appropriate reports and documentation of results achieved.

·  Assume overall responsibility for performance appraisals of assigned personnel and approve appropriate status changes and salary increases.

·  Determine the need for space, materials and capital equipment and provide cost analyses in justifying expense; prepare and maintain budgets for assigned operations.

·  Contribute to the development and implementation of new manufacturing processes.

·  Responsible for forecasting order levels and P&L performance of subsidiary service organizations.

·  Perform periodic visits and assessments of all subsidiary and representative service organizations for the purpose of offering specific guidance and assistance to foster growth and improvements of a representative service organization.

Qualifications:

·  Bachelor's of Science in Electrical Engineering with 3 to 5 years of general experience in manufacturing, engineering or service and 3 years of service operations management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

·  Thorough knowledge of products, service operations and procedures and a good working knowledge of modern quality systems and processes (ISO 9000, MIL-STD, etc.)

·  Ability to interface and effectively communicate with international customers and representatives.

JOB CONDITIONS: Frequent international travel; ten to twelve weeks per year.
