Position Summary

Plan and coordinate the implementation of new products, develop and improve manufacturing test processes, and support the total quality program.

 

Position ResponsibilitiesResolve production issues, both technical and mechanical, as they ariseRecommend changes in components, designs, or processes  Participate in the development and regular maintenance of software and/or hardware to be used in automated test equipmentCoordinate manufacturing activities with respect to implementation of new products and maintenance of existing productsPrepare test procedures and design test systems and fixturesRecommend equipment and methods for use in the test processes that reduce the cost and/or improve the product qualitySupport total quality through the continuous improvement of key measuresExhibit desirable and appropriate professional behavior including leadership, sense of urgency, independent judgment, industriousness, teamwork, ability to get along with others, creative thinking and personal integrity to provide for a cohesive, productive unit dedicated to the achievement of corporate goals 

 

Position QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent and five or more years related experience preferred.  Without a Bachelor's degree, ten or more years related experience is required Working knowledge of cellular industry and products desiredProficient in Microsoft Office applicationsKnowledge of Visual Basic and LabView a plusWillingness to travel 3-4 days per month
