Manufacturing Operations Supervisor

Requirements
Responsible for the development and implementation of activities in production area(s) to meet production goals, quality, and cost objectives. Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply. Plans and administers procedures and budgets. Makes budgetary recommendations on capital expenditures and direct/indirect labor. Selects and develops personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the production function. Develops schedules and manpower requirements for assigned areas.



Receives assignments in the form of objectives with goals and process to meet goals outlined. Provides direction to employees according to established policies and management guidance. Work is reviewed by management to measure meeting of objectives. Administers company policies that directly affect subordinate employees. Recommends changes to unit to subunit policies. Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve results will cause delays in schedules. Frequently interacts with subordinate supervisors, outside customers and functional peer groups at management levels. Interaction normally requires the ability to gain cooperation of others, conducting presentations of technical information concerning specific projects/schedules, etc. Provides general supervision to lower level supervisors and direct supervision to exempt employees and/or skilled nonexempt employees.

**This position is for 2nd shift starting around 2:30 pm / 3:00 pm until 11:30 pm / 12 midnight.

Skills
3 to 5 years experience in a manufacturing/electronics environment.
3 to 5 years prior supervisory experience a must

Familiarity with 5S and Lean manufacturing Technology and Systems
