Manufacturing Support Associate
Diamond Diagnostics, is a manufacturer and international supplier of clinical laboratory equipment and related components. The company is based in Holliston, Massachusetts and services distributors in over 80 countries worldwide.
We are currently seeking highly motivated and persistent individuals to join our Quality team. The position is 50%administrative oriented and 50% technical oriented.
Responsibilities
Administrative part:
· Maintain storage cabinets, Internal sourcing of refurbished parts
· Review, interpretation of Instrument Technical Documents, Schematic
· Manufacturing Support Functions (Preparing vinyl Art works i.e. signage, manuals)
· Maintain and preparation of Technical Documents (i.e. Operating Manuals, Quality Assurance Reports)
· Assist with Instrument Inspections (Serials numbers, Dimensions etc.)
· Maintain Reagent & Consumables Inventory
· Maintain and perform regular cleaning on manufacturing equipment
· Maintain clean and organized engineering department
Technical part:
· Complete dismantling of clinical instruments, assorting and organization of parts
· Repair metal and plastic parts to improve external aesthetics of equipment
· Complete aesthetic overhauls of chassis, assemblies, covers
· Clean and prepare panels, frames, chassis in all respects prior to priming and painting
· Rebuilding, Repair, testing of mechanical / electronic assemblies, components
· To comply with all company policies and external regulatory requirements
· To complete any professional task or job function asked of you by the company
· General labor in equipment rebuilding process
· General assembly and manufacturing
Qualifications
· High School Diploma or GED
· Strong Administrative Skills
· Strong organizational and communication skills
· Strong attention to detail and ability to focus
· Proficiency in the use of Windows and Microsoft software programs
· 2+ years of practical experience with diagnostics, repair and assembly of mechanical or electromechanical devices
· Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
· Ability to climb ladders to 20”
· Ability to lift 100lbs weight above waist height
· Highly motivated and persistent
· Ability to follow standard lab precautions
