The main duties of the position are as follows:Tests, troubleshoots and repairs thermal analysis and rheology subassemblies (including printed circuit boards), accessories, service parts, and instruments according to established specifications and test procedures.Calibrates test equipment and production instruments within established specifications.Analyzes instrument test data and evaluates performance of the instruments according to established specifications and test procedures.Prepares instruments for final shipment, including configuration and packup.The successful candidate will have a combination of knowledge, skills and experiencethat would include the following:An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology or closely related field.3+ years experience in a manufacturing environment preferred; experience in the manufacture of analytical instruments highly desirableThe ability to read and interpret schematicsDemonstrated ability to operate in a team environment a mustStrong organization and verbal & written communication skillsAbility to work in an environment of shifting priorities and changing procedures is critical.The ability to solderThe ability to use MS Office products.
