Marcom Section Manager

Leads development of category communication strategy, platforms and core messaging. Provides Leadership for Marcom (including PR) planning and deliverables across the category. Works across marketing network to ensure standards, approach, processes and content. Leads WW development of category communications plan linked to business strategy and CDG core messaging platforms. Ensures that all messaging and creative assets adhere to CDG brand standards and supports category business goals and priorities. Engages and manages the agency network to create marketing communications assets that adhere to brand standards and deliver on-target messaging to all market touch points, including regional demand generation programs. Marcom Planning & execution Develops core Marcom assets to support and drive the business. Creation of core communications assets for new product launch including photography, brochures, specs sheets, in-store communications including POP signage. Works across marketing network to coordinate and improve Capture marcom assets, standards, strategies, goals and processes; ensure consistency with Brand Standards. Creates creative briefs for the agency. Works with product marketing to ensure messaging is aligned across the product line and that messaging and marcom deliverables support the business objectives and strategies. Maintains budget and ensures marcom costs are tracking to budget. Ensures all Marcom deliverables and programs have clear objectives and metrics. Required Skills and Experience: Able to articulate business objectives and priorities. Demonstrated knowledge across the Marcom and merchandising discipline; excellent creative and strategic judgment; experience with communications testing methodology. Able to develop strategies and drive operational details ensuring category and customer expertise and focus. Demonstrated ability to coach and develop people to achieve desired results.
