Marketing Communications Manager

Their products are among the best known and respected brands in the industry this company is the leader in bringing new technology to the industry as well as "best in class" products.Position Summary: To successfully develop and execute initiatives in advertising, public relations and sponsorships that enhance brand awareness, equity, purchase intent and loyalty for the Company brand. Maximize awareness and equity for the Company brand.  Responsibilities:  Responsible for management of the advertising and PR agencies. Play critical role as the primary contact with:  editors, industry personalities, media and event organizers. Develop annual brand plans that deliver on awareness, equity, purchase intent and loyalty metrics. Manage the advertising function including the following: Manage the advertising agency. Manage the create development process across all mediums. Manage the media plan to deliver on brand metrics while operating within the budget parameters. Manage the public relations function including the following: Manage the agency to maximize effectiveness. Establish initiatives that deliver on goals (impressions, impact, etc..) Deliver strong support for new product launches. Management relationship with key editors and industry VIPs. Drive Podcast program. Work with agency to deliver key PR ‘special events’.  Manage key sponsorships, including the following: Establish a systematic means to evaluate opportunities. Deliver sponsorships that maximize brand awareness and equity. Deliver the plan on budget. Develop and implement new brand initiatives that drive enhanced loyalty with Company consumers. Interact with other marketing functions, sales and product managementRequirements:  5 years + Experience in Marketing Communications 4 year degree preferably in Marketing Strong overall marketing instincts. Brand management skills. High sense of urgency. Organization skills. Analytic ability.
