PEOPLE – PLACE—PURPOSE—POTENTIAL Position Summary The Marketing Specialist assists the business teams in meeting worldwide marketing objectives and goals through planning and active project management of a variety of marketing deliverables, including packaging, marketing collateral, and presentations. Working with the marketing managers (category, product and channel), the marketing specialist will manage projects from beginning to end, including project timelines, budgets, and will focus primarily on product launch and product marketing deliverables. The Marketing Specialist will interact with internal clients as well as internal creative resources and outside vendors. Responsibilities: · All facets of project management including creation of Project Brief, schedule and status reports· Tremendous attention to detail · Maintain project files and correspondence· Work closely with marketing managers on any cost or timing changes and with regular status updates; manage review cycles· Complete assignments under tight deadlines· Conduct press checks on key items· Drive and manage approval process throughout the project, including cross-functional approvals, such as quality, engineering and legal when required. The Ideal candidate: · 4-year college degree, preferably in Marketing, Business, or a related area· 1-2 years marketing experience· Experience working on a global team; good team player· Proven project management skills; extremely organized and detail oriented· Proven verbal and written communication skills· Demonstrated ability to take ownership and drive projects through completion· Customer-service oriented, personable, and positive attitude· Proven strategic thinking and planning capabilities· Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities· Must be able to function in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment· Understanding of graphics and print and package production specifications and processes· Excellent editing and presentation skills· Calm demeanor under pressure; ability to be flexible in an environment with competing and/or changing priorities· PC and various software applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Adobe Acrobat Basic Requirements: · Four year degree or four years experience in Marketing Click here to APPLY ON LINEPlantronics is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer.
