Opportunity:
National is looking for a highly motivated, leadership-oriented individual to fill a Marketing / Business Development role. The individual will be responsible for developing business/marketing plans, corporate-level strategy, and customer engagement plans that result in a higher product adoption rate, higher revenue per product, and market share growth in key target markets.


Primary Responsibilities:
-- Identify, quantify and justify new markets and product ideas consistent with National’s business model.
-- Analyzing the value chain for various sensor markets to formulate engagement and partnership strategies
-- Developing and driving strategies for the various links in the value chain
-- Analyzing competing solutions to provide inputs to system architects to develop competitive roadmaps.
-- Identify & engage with key customers; quantify the system-level advantage to the customer.
-- Working with regional sales and marketing teams to execute on customer engagement plans
-- Develop and exploit competitive advantage and barriers to entry for your products to create a sustained competitive advantage.
-- Contribute to a compelling long term vision, product roadmap and business strategy for key market segments.
-- Communicates and shares new information, learnings, and methods with cross-functional team members to achieve organizational goals.
-- Developing promotional strategies including trade shows, direct customer engagement, technology summits, web portals and press

Requirements:
*Minimum requirements are: 8 years with BS or equivalent; 7 years with MS or equivalent; 4 years with Ph.D. or equivalent.
Prefer experience with sensor-related customers / partners or having worked directly for such a company.
