Marketing Services Manager

SUMMARY

Assists in the implementation and execution of marketing programs. Provides information, advice and assistance on the creation, supply and purchase of promotional materials by performing the following duties.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

Coordinates all collateral material, packaging, displays, and other sales and marketing material needed to ensure that the division(s) operate effectively.

 

Maintains all price sheets, spec sheets, brochures, catalogues, line art, photographs and displays.  Responsible for making certain all copy is checked for accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.

 

In advance of all purchasing or creation, secures price quotes for each project and submits each quote to the respective Divisional Vice President, General Manager and National Sales Manager for written approval.

 

Coordinates, communicates and administrates the plans, policies and programs designated by the Divisional Vice President, General Manager and National Sales Manager.

 

Establishes and maintains the necessary relationships and teamwork with field sales staff, operating departments and vendors and informs them of current marketing objectives and approaches.

 

Ensures the effective control and distribution of all advertising materials and displays to field sales staff and customers; monitors inventory of all collateral materials.

 

Coordinates and communicates with other Marketing Service Managers to assure that whenever possible printing purchases are batched to secure the lowest possible price.

 

Communicates with outside agencies and vendors on ongoing promotional campaigns.

 

Prepares collateral material and product for a variety of trade shows.  Attends show for product set-up and dismantling and supports efforts of sales and marketing representatives.

 

All other duties as may be assigned by other members of management.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university and four to seven years related experience; or advanced degree and two to five years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
