Job Description:

Microwave Concepts is a fast growing, high technology firm located in Northern NJ. At Microwave Concepts, we design, develop, and manufacture high quality, high performance military and commercial RF/microwave multi-function modules.  The currently available position is an excellent opportunity in our Design Engineering Department. 

 

Primary responsibilities are the mechanical design of complex, multi-function, RF/microwave microelectronic assemblies.  Other responsibilities include in-depth analyses, interfacing effectively with manufacturing, assisting in the resolution of manufacturing issues, and the generation and maintenance of all design documentation and associated ECO documentation. 

 

Job Requirements: Must be a US Citizen capable of attaining a DOD SECRET Security Clearance Education: minimum BSMET or Equivalent Experience with design of electronic packaging and enclosures Proficiency in the use of CAD tools such as AutoCAD and SOLIDWorks  Proficiency in the use of Printed Circuit layout tools, such as PADS, to generate detailed electronic circuit board layouts from schematics Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office tools (i.e., WORD & EXCEL) to generate and modify travelers and process flow cards Capable of preparing documentation required for presentation at engineering design reviews, etc. Ability to support Operations to transition newly developed products into full production Excellent communications and interpersonal skills Creative problem solving skills
