Mechanical Engineer II

Brief Summary:  Designs and packages complex electro-mechanical parts and assemblies according to performance requirements and other specifications.  Develops product-testing procedures.  Provides technical support to production personnel to facilitate the transition from design to manufacturing. Prepares engineering change notices to initiate changes into the production process based on feedback on design problems.  

 

Requirements:  B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering, plus 3-5 years of experience including all areas of design to production.  Electronic packaging sheet metal and machine stop practices required.  Military avionics design experience necessary.  Military specifications knowledge and RF packaging experience a must.  Must have a background that would permit the issuance of a Security clearance, which includes US citizenship.
