Job Summary

Management of a team of Mechanical Engineers, Designers and/or Drafters developing and/or improving  semiconductor manufacturing equipment.  

Education and Experience

Required - Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) and 7+ years experience in design of electro-mechanical equipment

Desirable - MBA and/or Masters/PhD in Engineering and 10+ Years Experience and previous experience designing semiconductor capital equipment

 

Job Description

 

Lead Mechanical Engineering team responsible for design, development and release of next generation semiconductor manufacturing equipment. Manage the creation and execution of continuous improvement projects to enhance the reliability and lower the cost of existing systems. Provide technical guidance to team, manage resource loading, and maintaining schedules for engineering projects. Sponsor and manage design review schedule. Prepare update materials and report project status to management and other stakeholders on a regular basis. Drive engineering projects from conception through engineering ECO release, while maintaining schedule and budget.  Set group and individual goals and objectives, and periodically review performance vs objectives.  Present technical update materials for internal reviews and to customers as needed.

Experience with ECO software and interfacing with manufacturing  to release designs to production
