Network Administrator

Centon Electronics, Inc. is a leading manufacturer and supplier of memory and storage solutions: memory upgrades, flash memory cards, USB flash drives, and MP3 & MP4 players. We are currently seeking a Network Administrator to accompany our expansion. This is an exciting and challenging opportunity that offers a great deal of growth potential and learning opportunity

 

 

This function is responsible for upkeep of the network infrastructure as well as utilizing security fundamentals to ensure protection of the environment. This includes troubleshoot, maintain and enhance various physical and virtual servers, switches, routers, firewalls, and IP telephony devices. Providing end user support and training as needed, participating in development projects to enhance business practices, directing and coordinating company local and wide area computer networking activities.  

 

 Candidate must have strong knowledge of:

-Cisco Switches/Routers/Firewalls/IP Telephony
-Microsoft Windows Server 2000/2003
-Microsoft Exchange Server 2003

-Microsoft SQL Server
-Microsoft ISA Server
-Microsoft Active Directory 2003

-Domain Controllers
-Microsoft Terminal Services
-Dell PowerEdge Servers
-Understanding of Security Fundamentals
-VMWare or similar virtual server product

-Backup procedures
