Networking Technician Skills Required: Networking Technician Job Description: Networking Technician, Audio Video ExperienceLocation: Tustin, CAWe are a stable, growing, residential audio/video integration firm looking for experienced Audio/Video Technicians. We have an outstanding company reputation with numerous national accolades and design awards!!We specialize in high-end residential projects including home theater, multi-zone audio, home automation and lighting control. You will have at least 3 years Networking Technology experience of an Intermediate to Advanced level.What You'll Be Doing:~ Set up, test and debug network systems to include Modems, Routers, Switches and Wireless Access Points. Be able to connect to and configure/troubleshoot these items ~ Create client network documents to include all info of installed equipment and ensure it is properly filled out and kept up to date ~ Ensure client files are maintained and backed up on the company server at all times ~ Keep any other documentation that pertains to the network in the clients' folder ~ Keep your laptop synchronized with the server on a daily basis to ensure files are backed up and not lostWhat You Need:~ Have full working knowledge of configuring Network Routers. Brands used are Linksys, Netgear, D-Link, SMC, Dell and Cisco ~ Have full working knowledge of configuring Wireless Access Points. Brands used are Linksys, Netgear, and Cisco. ~ Have full working knowledge of configuring Network Switches.
