Position Description:

New Product Introduction (NPI) Planner This position is responsible for all material planning for all new products until the product transfers into high volume production. This includes working with the product team to plan initial wafer lots, package assembly and sample product test. The NPI planner is required to track inventory and plan additional material builds (substrates, die and packaged devices) required to support customer shipments during the product development phase. The NPI planner is the key owner of the production plan and will work with the Manufacturing planners to achieve an appropriately balanced plan for production. New Product Introduction (NPI) PlannerAfter production release, this position is responsible for working with Marketing to plan the ramp phase of the product until such a time that stable production is proven. This is a very fast paced and dynamic position that interfaces with many other departments including program management, product line marketing, product engineering and supply chain management.

Qualifications:

BA or BS degree preferred but not required pending experience. Demonstrated ability to manage a high-technology supply chain, good organization and proven communication skills is required. SAP or other ERP experience required.
