At present, we have an excellent opportunity for an Oracle SQA Analyst in our Denver, CO location. This position requires experience in Analysis, Design, Testing and implementation of business systems including Oracle Applications 11i (specifically GL, AP, AR), Strong Functional background coupled with good exposure to Technical areas of Packaged Software Applications including Open Interfaces, Data Conversion, Custom Reporting. Knowledge of Six Sigma & Quality Process a plus. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Lead test execution teams on the QA and QC of Oracle Implementations and Regression Testing. Oversee and perform application integration test execution to validate the functionality of the company's application before scheduled release. Assist with the identification and tracking of all Oracle project risks. Participate in system and functional requirement gathering, definition, analysis and documentation development and review. Participate in management of the quality plan, definition of exit and entrance criteria, and establishment of quality control metrics. Use functional specifications and technical design documents to design, develop and execute test scenarios, cases and scripts. Execute test scripts in both client server and three tier environments. Follow detailed life cycle for standard enhancement release process. Create and maintain defect logging, tracking and reporting system. Participate in identification and review of activities and deliverables critical to project quality. Participate in data gathering for project progress performance reporting. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: B.A./ B.S in Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent field Minimum 5 years experience in SQA discipline and methodologies, serving as SQA team lead on projects, software/system testing including web applications using industry standard QA testing tools. Testing experience with Oracle IDS tools, Java, XML (Oracle Fusion middleware) in a relational database environment. Must have strong experience testing Oracle finance/accounting modules. Ability to perform requirements analysis, including all phases and stages of software testing: functional, system, integration, data validation, user acceptance, scalability, performance, stress, and load. Skilled in the following SQA tools: Mercury Test Director and Quick Test Pro. Solid experience interfacing with software developers and outside clients. Ability to quickly learn new software applications on which testing will be performed. Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills and a commitment to continuous testing improvement. Exceptional knowledge of software development lifecycle and how it intersects test practices and quality assurance. Ability to develop and execute effective plans for quality management, review, and audit. Ability to develop and track metrics for quality assurance. Intermediate to expert level skills with: Microsoft - Visio, Project, Office, PowerPoint; PL/SQL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: · Certification by QAI or other comparable entity.
