PC/Network Support Tech

This is a highly visible opportunity to pursue your career path in Infrastructure Support! ATK Tactical, Propulsion and Controls Division located in Elkton, Marylandis seeking a talented and motivated Network Support Technician. Description -Provide primary, secondary and tertiary support for users of desktop computers and peripherals. -Provide primary support for client computer access to network resources. -Install, configure and maintain computer hardware, peripherals and applications consistent with IT standards and processes. -Coordinate issues and solutions with other IT support personnel and users. Respond to user issues in a timely and effective manner. -Work as a member of a team and provide off-hours support when required. -Use tracking system (HelpStar) to document issues and resolutions. Maintain inventory tracking system and processes. -Ensure compliance with established company security policies and accepted risk impact to the business. Maintain configuration management documentation. -Work on the Help Desk as required and perform system or network administrative functions (review of system logs, backup activity, etc). -Document procedures within the prescribed framework, ITIL, TOGAF, etc. -Perform backup support role to the Baltimore Office; travel to Baltimore is minimal but required -Support remote users. -Provide Citrix support. -Perform administrative functions as required. -Work overtime as required. Requirements:- 3 or more years experience in desktop and remote user support - Bachelors degree or equivalent experience with HS Diploma or GED - Strong interpersonal and customer service skills - Ability to work within an established team. - Ability to Achieve Dell certifications. -Ability to obtain Secret Clearance which requires US Citizenship as a pre-requisite - ITIL experience preferred.
