Photo-Plating Process Development/Sustaining Engineer

General responsibilities  

Process Engineer is primarily responsible for developing and sustaining unit processes used to create the Company’s fuel cell MEMS structures, although some development work will also be required.

 

Specific responsibilities

§ Develop unit step processes as required including using design-of-experiments techniques.

§ Develop and execute detailed project plans to meet the company’s process specifications, schedule and cost goals.

§ Sustain unit step processes as required including putting in place statistical process control.

§ Analyze cause of yield loss, determine root causes and put in place defect prevention strategies to improve yields.

§ Work with engineers, technicians, and operators to meet productivity goals.

§ Write process specifications.

§ Document and analyze experimental results, present data, analysis and recommendations both orally and in writing.

§ Work with equipment engineers and technicians to insure that processes and equipment are functioning properly.

 

Requirements

§ Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science.

§ Experience with plating and wet etch required.

§ UltraTech stepper and RETMAN experience required.

§ Experience creating stepper target and alignment schemes required.

§ Experience developing resist processes for MEMS devices with non planar topography required.

§ A minimum of 5 years of experience in semiconductor and or MEMS process sustaining or development engineering.

§ Strong personal computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project.

§ Proficiency in technical report writing.
