Radar Systems' major mission areas include: Air, Land and Sea Surveillance and Imaging Radar Maritime Search and Rescue/Weather Radar Identification Friend or Foe and Air Traffic Control Systems

 Brief Summary: Researches, develops, designs, and tests electronic, electrical and mechanical components, equipment and systems and coordinates activities involved in their fabrication, operation, application, installation and repair. Plans and directs fabrication of test apparatus and equipment, and develops methods and procedures for testing products or systems. Develops and debugs functional diagnostic test programs for production hardware. Provides technical support to production personnel for release of new test programs and procedures (hardware and software). Assists in the transition from engineering to production test methods.

 

Requirements:   Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from a four-year college, plus a minimum of 15 years related experience. Must have experience with the technical digital design implementation of complex, high speed, circuitry and systems. Must be fluent in Xilinx and VHDL design tools (FPGA), board/box level architecture, design, and integration skills.  Knowledge of Radar/IFF is a plus.  Must have a background that would permit the issuance of a Security clearance, which includes US citizenship.
