Process Control Field Engineer

Andrews Industrial Controls ( www.Andrewsic.com ), a provider of process automation and control application services and solutions, has an opportunity for a Process Control Field Engineer to join its growing team in Pittsburgh, PA.  This is an exciting opportunity for a talented, self motivated engineer who enjoys working with customers to successfully manage and commission projects and provide support services.

 

Responsibilities:Acts as a liaison between customers and engineering services in the development of process control solutionsOversees all aspects of field project management, including cost estimates, specifications, time lines and status reports.Provides programming applications to support project execution and commissioning.Troubleshoots existing process control systems and provides recommendation and solutions.Conceptualizes, sources and assembles application panels and enclosures

 

Requirements:

·  BS Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

·  5+ years process control experience in a field service role

·  Solid programming experience including PLC, HMI, Visual Basic and VB.Net, relational database experience (SQL, Oracle)

·  Demonstrated troubleshooting skills

·  Project management experience from project concept to installation.  Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize

·  Experience providing exceptional customer service

·  Strong mechanical aptitude

·  Exceptional communication skills

·  Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds, bend, stoop, reach and stand for long periods of time

 

Qualified applicants will also be highly motivated and possess excellent interpersonal skills to interact with customers.  Extensive local travel is required, minimal overnight travel as needed.
