Job Duties:

 Monitors and controls production processes to ensure conformance to specified Production Part Approval Process requirements.Develops new processes, tooling and metrology necessary to drive product improvements and new product development.Participates in design reviews to ensure new products are designed for manufacturability.Develops necessary process or material specification documentation and assists in the training of manufacturing operators.Examines and suggests improvements for existing tooling, process equipment, controls, specifications, procedures, drawings, etc.Supports the management of company suppliers and performs failure analysis and corrective action responses for non conforming product.Develops feasibility studies and cost justifications relating to the procurement of special equipment/machines/controls, and provides R.O.I. and cost reduction support data.Actively participates in the lean manufacturing initiatives, monitoring production quality indicators and initiating improvement methods.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: 

 BSCE, BSIE, BSME or equivalent education and experience.5 years experience in process, manufacturing, or industrial engineering. Familiar with mechanical manufacturing processes, controls, and equipment for paper, foil and film converting. Roll and film products manufacturing experience is highly desirable, especially continuous electrode films for lithium ion batteries, electrochemical capacitors or fuel cells. Understands and posses the ability to implement processes within TS16949 and PPAP requirements
