Process & Quality Technician/Engineer

Growing 29 year old temperature sensor and probe manufacturer is looking for a self motivated, team oriented individual to complete quality and productivity improvement projects in manufacturing. Candidates should have a technical degree and some experience working in a manufacturing environment, ideally in a quality or testing function. Ability to speak Mandarin is required. Ability to speak Spanish is also considered a plus. An understanding of manufacturing processes for temperature sensors and probe assembly is a plus. Primary Responsibilities

Completing projects for quality and/or productivity improvements in manufacturing

Execute process and product verification and validation studies as directed

Implement process improvements and new processes to improve product quality or productivity

Assist in non-conformance investigations, employee training, and monitoring manufacturing practices

Accountability

Measurable improvement or baseline understanding in product quality or productivity.

Compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements

Reporting Relationships

Reports to Vice President of Engineering and Product Development

Desired Qualifications & Experience

Able to understand, analyze, and troubleshoot manufacturing processes

Experience in the ISO 9001 Quality System is desired

Written and verbal fluency in English

Verbal fluency in Mandarin

Verbal fluency in Spanish a plus

Willingness for international travel (30% - will vary) – China and Mexico

Some computer fluency is required in Microsoft Office
