Product Design Leader

Job Responsibilities:
Originate, develop and lead the design of mechanical, electrical, physical, or software products which require the creation of ideas and methods which are novel or not previously adapted to a design in execution.
Lead technical aspect of projects and/or cross-functional teams through new or enhanced product development. Lead technical design as well as schedule and work of technical resources. Development of C/C++ firmware for Ethernet based communications based on product specifications written by others. Writing of technical specifications for Ethernet based communications devices. Unit test of firmware

BSEE/CS. At least 5 years of work experience in a Firmware / Software development group. Experience as the technical lead on a project or a significant subsystem of a large project. Experience leading a remote / international technical team or a partner development including project management skills. Experience in Ethernet development, in industrial systems, VxWorks / Windriver, Rational software products is desired. Detailed knowledge of Ethernet switching, Qos, redundancy and other layer 2 technologies is preferred
