Product Development Engineer

The Micromachined Products Division of Analog Devices Inc. currently has a Product Development Engineer position open. This position will work as a project leader for cross functional engineering teams to ensure the successful development and release to production of MEMS products such as accelerometers and gyroscopes for the automotive and consumer markets. Specific responsibilities will include:Act as a team leader and key technical contributor on technical problem solving teams addressing issues relating to MEMS products in both development and full scale production not meeting quality, reliability or performance expectations. Support technology development groups to evolve fundamental new processes in wafer fab, probe, assembly and test. Direct communication and collaboration with design, marketing, test development and manufacturing will be required.  Specific responsibilities will include:

 Basic Qualifications:

BSEE and 15+ experience or MSEE and 10+ years experience required. 10+ years in related MEMS/semiconductor/ IC field. Proven team leadership skills and excellent communication skills. Strong digital and analog circuits knowledge, excellent data analysis and analytical skills.

 

 Additional Qualifications:Experience bringing new products to market preferred.MEMS experience a strong plus. Experience with semiconductor manufacturing processes (wafer fab, packaging and test) a strong plus. Experience with Failure Analysis and bench probing techniques preferred.
