Product Marketing Engineer

We are looking for an individual with a desire to excel and contribute in a high impact organization at a fast growing UWB semiconductor company. This person will be working with the Sales, Engineering, and Operations organizations within the company to define the product marketing requirements, drive product development and rolling out new products into the marketplace. Ability to interface effectively with cross functional teams is required.

 

In this position, the person will be involved with various consumer electronics and home networking markets with solutions such as STB, DVD, HDTV, and Home Gateway products that incorporate our UWB semiconductor devices. This candidate will be responsible for all aspects of Product Marketing.

 

Key responsibilities:Lead life cycle of the current chipsetMarketing Requirements Documents Define whole product requirementsDefine marketing requirements for EVK,  RDKWork with Engineering to implement marketing requirementsManage products from MRD to EOL.Product requirements (MRD)Product positioningGenerate Sales collateral such as product presentations, brochures, product briefsManage product web pagesCoordinate and manage all product issues between customers and Engineering.Drive cost reduction initiative for existing products with AProvide sales a monthly product updatesTrack Chipset and RDK forecasts with Sales and operationsDrive Reference design developmentParticipate in Industry Trade Associations

Skills:

We are looking for someone who has a BSEE or similar degree in a technical area and 1-2 years experience in a Product Marketing.  An MBA is desirable.  Candidate must have experience with evaluating new market opportunities and defining product strategies and product marketing requirements. Candidate must have strong written and verbal communication skills.

 

Since you will be interfacing with customers and attending trade shows, you will need good verbal and written communications skills and must have the ability to travel 15-20% of the time.
