Product Marketing Engineer Sr Staff

Utilizes a combination of value-based pricing and pricing analytics to establish list pricing, develop pricing strategies/tactics to prepare for contractual pricing & Volume Pricing Agreements (VPA) negotiations, and assist management of budgetary pricing during the design-in stage. Develop market intelligence on competitive solutions in the marketplace, manage pricing programs with partners, execute spot market pricing on a tactical basis and plan/implement training with all sales channels. Implement plans for reducing pocket pricing leakage and strategies for monetizing design services, software, hardware, silicon, and other value-added services. Provide inputs into the front-end pricing in new product business plans to include segmentation strategies and target pricing. Develop pricing plans and subsequent metrics that compare to plan as well as price band, pocket pricing, value-capture, and comparison versus competitive benchmarking and market needs.

Pricing aptitude, specifically in the area of value-pricing techniques Ability to interface with sales, management, and customers Technical capability to gain product understanding, market knowledge and customer knowledge Data driven thought process required to utilize pricing analytics to make sound decisions MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: BSEE or other engineering degree required, MSEE or MBA preferred, 5-8 years in technical marketing and direct customer interaction experience required, pricing experience preferred EOE
