Product Marketing Mgr II

Description:Responsible for management of the PanelViewPlus/PanelViewPlusCE product line including product planning, product definition, profit and loss, sales performance, forecasting, product margin, promotion and product life cycle management and developing strategies to optimize the performance of existing and new products-including Product Line extensions and enhancements. Responsible for coordinating with development engineering and manufacturing regarding the activities of strategic business partners relative to assigned products. The development activities will require a knowledge of new SAP processes, Common Product Development Process, and Design for Six Sigma principles. Position interacts frequently with Marketing, Sales, third party partners and other Rockwell product groups. This position also interacts frequently with the other A & S businesses-both Logix and Rockwell Software.Qualifications:EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:Bachelors degree in Business or Technical fields, or equivalent experience in industry. Formal training in pricing, leadership, influence and forecasting will be required. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:- Typically requires 8 years of related experience, with proven team leadership - Automation industry knowledge required, with control system background desired. - Strong customer relationship management skills and ability to collaborate effectively with various functional groups and peer business units.- Excellent communication and presentation skills and influencing capabilities, efficient in Microsoft Office products, and an ability to work with a geographically dispersed team to achieve position objectives. - Previous product marketing management responsibility and demonstrated leadership capabilities preferred.Salary/Benefits: Salary commensurate with experienceRockwell Automation offers a competitive benefit plan.
