PMC-Sierra Enterprise Storage Division is the leading worldwide developer of high speed interconnect ASIC’s for enterprise storage solutions. Some of the interfaces/standards we work with are Fibre Channel, PCI-Express, Serial Attached SCSI as well as feature rich technologies such as T10 DIF and encryption for storage.

Responsibilities

Our group offers a unique opportunity to grow your verification skills while you assist with the development of different types of high speed interface ASIC’s for the enterprise storage industry. You should have deep knowledge of design & verification methodologies. Other specific responsibilities include:

·Develop and execute detailed block-level and chip-level test plans.
·Simulate and verify RTL code (Verilog/VHDL) and gate-level netlists for complex digital sub-systems.
·Achieve maximum coverage to ensure first working silicon.
·Good understanding of verification methodologies for mixed-signal ASIC design.
·Verifies designs at various levels: architecture, logic, sub-system, and system
·Use programming languages (C/C++, PERL, TCL, etc.) to improve the efficiency of the verification tasks.
·Experience in writing test plans and test-bench development.

Qualifications

·BS or MS in Electrical Engineering with background in CMOS ASIC design.
·At least 3 years of industry experience.
·Design and verification experience at the RTL and gate-level (Verilog/VHDL)
·Working knowledge of Cadence's IC design and verification tools on (NCVerilog, Specman).
·Familiarity with e-Language highly desired.
·Strong documentation, communication, and presentation skills.
·Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
