Production Associate

General Summary:

Responsible for performing inspections and/or audits of purchased parts, materials, equipment and quality control programs. Performs manual and administrative duties related to the shipping, receiving, storing, and the distribution of materials, parts, and equipment. This associate performs a various assembly functions under general supervision. Duties are well defined and require some judgment and interpretation. Assigned areas could be but not limited to Cab Integration, Sum Assembly, Drive Assembly and/or packaging, prepping and preparing product for shipment for internal and external customers.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:Good knowledge of the job, and company policies and principles. Limited understand of the technical aspects of the job. Projects assigned are routine. Applies standard policies and procedures. Assignments require some basic problem resolution. Works under general supervision, Instructions given for routine work, Detailed instructions given for new assignments. Performs periodic Inventory Scans. Contribute to production goals of assigned Dept. Good understanding of Job Function and requirements to succeed. Capable of applying knowledge in all assemble areas and product prep for shipments. Meets all EMC quality standards in performing assigned task. Follow all processes and written assembly instructions, drawings, schematics, and documents and report any discrepancies between actual and documented process. Complete all production forms accurately. Assist with maintaining Inventory Control by verifying Oracle Transaction, performing weekly cycle counts and performing physical Inventory. Perform Sub-assmebly and cab Audits. Identify and report inventory discrepancies. Material Handling In addition, to all Oracle Shop Floor requirements for Production Associate, learn and apply additional complex tools: Perform TLA Breakdown Oracle Shop Floor Control Reports Material On Hand Qty by Sub Inventory and Locator S/N, P/N, Rev Change DMF Form for discrepant or defective material Query and understand Engineering Change Orders, Temporary Change Orders and Material Purges. Utilize a Sales Order Management Tool. Utilize Excel and Word Reports and Databases

Skills:  Ability to work in a team environment. Excellent Communication Skills. Basic computer skills. High sense of urgency.  Able to adapt to change.  Strong organizational skills.  Well developed interpersonal skills.  Associates Degree in technical field.  1-3 years experience in similar role.  The successful candidate must pass a pre employment background check and drug screen.
