Travel & Training Requirements Production Associate/Meredian I Candidate will be required to travel & train at Honeywell facility in Phoenix, Arizona for 45 workdays from 7/16/08 to 9/16/08. Travel expenses covered by Honeywell with maximum of two weekend trips home during the training time period. Position Purpose/Summary This position will be part of the Honeywell Field Solutions team supporting the assembly and testing of sensors and probes. Responsibilities include chemical handling, sub-assembly, final assembly and test of the Meredian I product line. Employee must be able to interpret Method Layouts to perform the required tasks. Tasks will include sitting with some stand up assembly line operations, lifting of up to 20lbs, and repetitive lifting of up to 5 lbs, manual assembly and use of hand tools. Employee will work as part of a team and is expected to adhere to standard work. Possess the ability to do Surface Mount Soldering under a microscope Defect free product assembly within established quality and workmanship standards.Products requiring moderate & precise assembly skills with attention to detail. To understand and perform per assembly documentation, methods, and verbal instruction Demonstrate acceptable attendance and availability for work. Willingness to work overtime if required. H.S Diploma or GED Candidate be legally authorized to work in the US Read, Write & Speak English Ability to comprehend Work Instructions - visual, written and verbal. Light industrial assembly experience. Soldering skills- 3 years surface mount experience desirable. Manual Dexterity Ability to work with small parts Attention to Detail & Patience. Ability to work, communicate and interact in a Team Environment. Ability to work with Chemicals: Epoxy-Gel, Potassium Chloride, Aluminum Oxide and Ammonium Nitrate.
