SoundOff Signal is a growing local firm with an international base of suppliers and customers.  We are a team oriented, ISO certified manufacturer of emergency and commercial vehicle lighting equipment.  We are looking for an energetic, go-getter with a positive attitude who will enhance our team. 

 

Production Planner

 

This position is responsible for production scheduling, shop floor reporting, and coordinating priority shipments. Releasing job orders to manufacturing to support shipments and managing the movement of sales orders through the company are key aspects of this function. This position also supports the lean manufacturing process and backs up the Planning Manager.

 

Previous experience with MRP concepts and manufacturing software systems is required. Understanding and working with bills of material is also needed. As a result of our short lead times, the ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment is critical.

 

Bachelor’s degree in business or related fields, plus 3 or more years of planning and scheduling experience; excellent key boarding skills; the ability to work well with others; and the willingness to implement new systems is required.
