Program Manager, AV Channels
Job Responsibilities:
APC AV team is seeking an individual to fill the position of Program Manager, AV Channels in West Kingston,RI.
Primary responsibilities will include the creation of campaigns and marketing plans for the custom and pro AV channels of business- including selection of the appropriate activities (web, advertising, direct mail, events, trainings, literature, spiff contests, point of purchase material, etc.).
Position reports to the NAM AV Sales and Marketing Manager. Responsibilities will include contract negotiations, management of the $2M+ MDF and spending budget, development and execution of training/education programs, reporting ROI. The individual will work directly with our custom and pro AV accounts and the appropriate account managers in determining annual plans for the accounts. Other duties will include closure studies/surveys, visiting accounts, directing AV media and advertising, creating promos, industry trade shows, working in tandem with sales to create, identify, and close new accounts and opportunities, and other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field, and/or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years experience with marketing program coordination including market analysis, account management, and campaign development. Qualified candidates must possess excellent verbal, written, communication and presentation skills; also the candidate must be willing to work as a part of a team. The candidate must have a strong understanding and knowledge of APC's product lines, especially the APC AV line of engineered power solutions. Proficiency in Excel, the entire MS Office suite including Publisher, and the Adobe family of applications required. This position is based in West Kingston, RI and requires a willingness to travel domestically 10-12 times per year.
