 Job Description:

As part of the marketing and business development department of a fast growing RF Semiconductor company, the Program Manager will participate in, and manage new program proposal and development activities. This includes facilitating the transition of new business development proposals into resourced programs as well as the management of cost, product performance and schedule deliverables, from inception through completion. The Program Manager will work with cross functional resources to ensure customer program success and company profitability.

Coordinates with Product Marketing, Design, Product Development, Quality and Production managers to recruit, select and motivate effective program execution teams on assigned programs. Assures that obligations are clearly defined and communicated to all members of the program team, and that program team members consistently meet individual and team obligations necessary to successful program execution.  

 


Experience, Skills and Education Required

5+ years of progressive program management experience and/or substantial engineering project engineering experience in the semiconductor industry within an engineered products environment that requires significant product development and custom engineering prior to transition to production.

 

· Ability to clearly demonstrate risk/opportunity management.

· Strong customer interface experience in contract driven environments with complex sets of deliverables.

· Demonstrated ability to lead technical and cross-functional teams.

· Demonstrated performance in a loosely structured, tightly-resourced, high-growth, start-up organization.

· Experience working with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.

· Proven ability to drive change and create rapid, measurable improvements.

· Sense of urgency to meet customer requirements and commitment to customer service and satisfaction.

· Satellite/Space industry experience a plus.

· Applicant must be a U.S. resident or citizen.

 

Educational Requirements

BA or BS degree in engineering, physical science or business.
