Programmer / Developer

Black Creek Integrated Systems is a leading national supplier of integrated electronics security systems for the correctional industry.  As a result of our experience and reputation in the corrections industry, Black Creek's tecnology has become a standard nationwide for many architectural and engineering firms specializing in criminal justice work.

One of the modules we integrate into a security system is our SallyPort program, a sophisticated jail inmate management program.  We are seeking a qualified programmer to work on the SallyPort team.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Perform coding duties within a specified time frameProvide assistance with software support and troubleshooting through interaction with the customer Maintain proper coding practices and documentation, even under deadlines Perform software quality assurance



Qualifications
Strong programming skillsStrong analytical and problem solving skills Ability to work with members of a team Strong communication skills with the ability to understand and articulate ideas verbally and in written Strong understanding of object oriented programming and relational databases such as SQL Server or Access Minimum 2 years programming with VB.Net projects with SQL Server back end Knowledge in setting up Windows network



Education, Certifications, Licenses
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related techical area, or equivalent work experience Microsoft Certification will improve candidacy
