Project Manager - Electromechanical

Job Responsibilities:?Manage electromechanical product development efforts utilizing a cross-functional team (Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, Marketing) to bring new product ideas to market quickly?Coordinate weekly/daily meetings as needed to drive the cross-functional team deliverables?Coordinate projects among multiple companies for speed-to-market development and launch?Lead development of market product requirements (Voice of Customer), then translate VOC into technical product specifications?Facilitate the product development plan utilizing a defined Product Development Gate Process?Build, maintain, update and communicate comprehensive program schedules and milestones ?Identify project risks to meet the product launch dates, create risk mitigation plans and communicate on a timely basis so the message can be delivered to the appropriate management personnel to keep projects on schedule ?Develop & manage product development efforts to a project budget, including development of Capital Expenditure Requests?Manage the qualification of new products through environmental and regulatory testing?Provide Performance Review input for team members?Provide project status reports to Sr. Management

 Requirements:

 BSEE/BSEET, MSEE a PlusWill consider BSME/MSME with strong electrical experience Project Manager Professional (PMP) certification a PLUSAbility to work with a multi-disciplined cross-functional team5 or more years of experience in new product development of cost sensitive electromechanical type products.3-5 years demonstrated successful Project Management Strong English oral and written communications Proficient with MS Office Suite, including MS Project or equivalent project management software Experience with commercial product manufacturing and the ability to integrate the needs of the End-users, and Manufacturing to provide optimum designs that exceed those of competitors.
