Project Services Manager

Job Responsibilities:
Applicant will be part of the team responsible for the successful growth of the Critical Power Competency Center.

Products include knowledge of Power Zone 4 low voltage switchgear, QED-6/QED-2 Low voltage switchboards and medium voltage equipment products

Responsibilities include:
Review order documents for completeness and conflicts, including drawing requirements, documentation requirements, and delivery requirements.
Converts the order using quote to cash procedures.
Review and coordinate approval drawings for customer release, record drawing, and final documentation submittals.
Coordinate shipping schedules.
Coordinate witness testing and start-up.
Coordinate change orders and invoicing.
Work with customers and Square D plants to resolve questions and problems.
Keep customers informed involving status

Qualifications:
Four year degree in Engineering or Business. Minimum of two years related experience in the electrical industry in an engineering, marketing, sales or manufacturing position. Field experience preferred but not required. Candidate should be computer literate, i.e., excel, word. Individual should have working knowledge of electrical distribution products, specs, terms and conditions, and Square D drawings; excellent communication skills both oral and written; organizing and planing skills; the ability to analyze facts and make decisions; ability to cope with difficult situations and people; candidate should have an assertive nature with the ability to conduct or attend business meetings, seminars, and training sessions. Occasional travel will be required. Occasionally, visual inspection of equipment is required. Candidate should have the ability to do extensive reading and writing of printed or typed material; extended use of the voice is required daily.
