Datapath, Inc., a leader in Satellite and Terrestrial Telecommunications system design, integration, and turnkey installation services has an immediate opportunity available for a Proposal Manager position in our Duluth, GA (suburb of Atlanta) operations headquarters.

 

The Proposal Manager will lead the Proposal staff and coordinate work activities.  Your team will work closely with Business Development, Program Management, and Contracts Management to identify, bid, and win business in the Department of Defense (DoD) and Government arena. 

 

 

Core components of this position include:

· Analyzes RFI/RFP and develops production/documentation guidelines including proposal templates and standards for proposal preparation.

· Responsible for the administration, mechanics and logistics of assigned RFP's, RFI's, and RFQ's.

· Coordinates/schedules conference call and meetings supporting proposal development.

· Distributes RFP and associated updates/amendments/modifications to the proposal team.

· Manages assigned proposal technical writers in the development of assigned sections.

· Serves as point of contact for compiling and formatting proposal documents.

· Works with the Account Managers, Capture Managers, and Sales Engineering to develop, maintain and communicate the proposal schedule, plans, outlines, assignments, baselines and storyboards.

· Leads the development and improvement of proposal processes and procedures.

 

Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in English, or Business.  Master’s degree highly desiredMust have at least 6 years experience leading proposal teams with Program Of Record business in the DoD environment (preferably Army) or other Government agenciesTop performers will have excellent communication skills (verbal/written), demonstrated proficiency with MS Office suite, excellent organizations skillsAPMP certification a plus
